Indianapolis, Indiana has been an epicenter for the game of basketball lately. The two stars in town, Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers and Caitlin Clark of the Fever, are not just ive of each other, but are good enough friends to where they “hang out all the time.”
Caitlin Clark, Tyrese Haliburton Are Close Friends, Talk “24/7”
For a new piece up on ESPN’s website on Friday morning, Ramona Shelburne spoke with both of the city’s star players.
Clark has been a mainstay in the arena and on camera’s during the Pacers’ deep playoff run. While nursing an injury that she sustained in late May, the WNBA phenom has been ing Haliburton and his teammates, and has a solid track record when attending games. So far this postseason, the Pacers are 8-0 when Clark is in attendance.

But she isn’t just a fan of Haliburton. In fact, they’re close friends, as Shelburne points out in her article. The two share a four-person group chat with their significant others, which is highly active. “We’re talking 24/7,” Haliburton pointed out. The four of them, including Haliburton’s girlfriend Jade and Clark’s boyfriend Connor, hang out often.
Connor once worked as a player development intern for the Pacers, and played against Haliburton in his college days while at Iowa.
How Many More Pacers Games Will Clark Attend?
The in-game isn’t one-sided. Haliburton has been in attendance to watch Caitlin Clark and the Fever on plenty of occasions, including the season opener when Clark became the first WNBA player to record a triple double on opening night. “But I’ve been coming to the games since I got there. I love basketball, especially the women’s game,” Haliburton has said. He also points out that he has been attending Fever games since long before Clark arrived on the scene, as well.
"(Tyrese Haliburton) and I would both tell you this is where we both hope to stay the rest of our careers.”

It is likely that we will continue to see Clark in attendance at Pacers games, as long as her schedule permits her. Though she isn’t playing, the Fever are in town until at least next Wednesday, which means there is a good chance she’ll be there for Game 4 on Friday night.
But her team will begin a three-game, five-day road trip when they take on the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday, so it is likely that she will be absent for a potential Game 6 for the Pacers on that same night.
